“TIMELY, REAL, AND VIBRANT” are three words that describe this play by RSC’s Associate Artistic Director, Chelsea M. Marcantel.

Based on characters created through a month of intensive collaborative improvisation with the cast, The Tiniest Sound in Recorded History tells the story of two families struggling to survive in a climate of isolation, disillusionment, and disability.  Just when it seems that everyone’s neuroses have aligned to form a fragile peace, the families are forced yet again to deal with circumstances beyond their control.  The results are both shocking and moving, and bring to light the necessity of community and trust.
